Mrs. Dolores M. Jendrzejczak, 76 , of Linda Drive, Hagaman, New York passed away peacefully Wednesday, Novewmber 21, 2012 at St. Mary's Healthcare in Amsterdam, New York with her family at her side.

She was born February 23, 1936 in Amsterdam, New York a daughter of the late John and Mary Gondek Tokarczyk. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Institute and was a lifelong area resident.

Dolores was employed by the General Electric Company in Schenectady, New York in the Machinery Apparatus Operation in support of the nuclear navy fleet as a Secretary/Administrative Assistant for many years before retiring.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and the Ladies Rosary Society. She was Past President of St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary, a member of the former Mt. Loretto Nursing Home Auxiliary and a member of the St. Michael's/Mt.Carmel Seniors.

Dolores was a very social person and enjoyed organizing and participating in class reunions, retirements and fund raising events. She was very artistic and enjoyed decorating and making party favors for numerous events. Family was her focus and center and she was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was married to Richard S. Jendrzejczak on April 23, 1955. He died September 21, 2004. She was also predeceased by her daughter Linda Marie Bornt in 2009.

She is survived by her daughter Theresa Donohue and her husband John, Gansevoort, New York; her grandchildren Jennifer Wexler (Tony), Wilton, Derek Snyder, Gansevoort, David and Jon Bornt, Amsterdam and Erika Chapin, Johnstown; great granddaughter Briana Dean; step granddaughter Heather Lewis,Glens Falls; brother-in-law Vincent C. Jendrzejczak, sister-in-law Rita Lyczko and Regina Tumidajewicz; several nieces, nephews and cousins and many dear friends.

The funeral will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Jendrzejczak Funeral Home 200 Church Street, Amsterdam, New York followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:15 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 - 5 p.m. Sunday, November 25 at the funeral home with the Rosary Society service at 2:15 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Northeast Kidney Foundation, 99 Troy Road East Greenbush, NY 12061.
